Counselling of clients in the fields of Pharmacy / Medicine, Chemistry / Material Science, Food processing, Agricultural Sciences / Crop Protection, Energy, Chemical engineering. Drafting and prosecution of patent applications, handling of oppositions, appeals as well as agreements and opinions with a focus on patent law. Drafting and prosecuting supplementary protection certificates for medicinal products and plant protection products, as well as plant variety protection. Tutorial work.
Career and Experience
Study of Chemistry at the RWTH Aachen, PhD thesis at the Institute of Chemical Engineering, followed by a position as Project Leader in Pharmaceutical Development.
Since 2001 employed as Patent attorney in pharmaceutical / chemical industry. European Patent attorney since 2004. In 2017 diploma “Patent Litigation in Europe” at the University of Strasbourg. Since 2019 accredited as Innosuisse Special Coach (Start-Up Coaching/Scale-Up Coaching).
